Called for the nurse to look at it and she couldn't believe her eyes so she had to borrow skin cream from my mother roommate to apply on wound. Then she checked my mom stomach called the doctor and was told to send her to ER. No communication between staff on patients care when shift change. Aides arguing with each other in front of patients/visitors, there was no one at receptionist desk to let you in..when she did come she is on personal phone. Went talked with the Administrator about my complaint for the 2nd time.

Because of COVID-19 we are not allowed to visit at all. She cannot even get a hot cup of coffee in the am and is served meals after staff has been told MULTIPLE times it is something she does not eat. We are terrified to complain because of the poor quality of care she is already receiving. She has fallen a couple of times b/c of the inattention.

It is honestly as though they could not care less about her surviving their facility. She is elderly and so it seems they just write them off - Patients not deserving of being served food they can eat. My father was at this facility for skilled stay then transitioned to long term. He was very happy and the staff was engaging and he made some wonderful friends. During the end of his life the staff was kind and caring and always there for myself and my family.

I just wasn't really impressed with the structure of the building and it wasn't updated. I did walk her to dinning area, which was small and clean. I wasn't really impressed because the area was old and you can see how old the building was.
